Now who said there was no new content? We have a tonne of amazing family films with something for everyone to keep the kids entertained this half-term! Here's a breakdown of our favourites...
We love films that let you escape to another world, especially when they’re as beautiful as The Secret Garden! The ideal film for kids and parents to enjoy together, let's head back to Misselthwaite Manor and join Mary as she discovers magic, mystery and of course secrets in her Uncle Archibald’s (Colin Firth) garden!
We’re a sucker for some good ol’ animated antics, especially when the nestrians and grymps are involved! Following on from 2015 hit Two By Two, this sequel is set aboard Noah’s Ark where tensions are starting to rise as the food supplies dwindle. After being thrown overboard in a terrible storm, it’s left to best friends Finny and Leah to find their way back to the boat and to restore the peace with the help of some new friends.
From the team behind Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid, get ready to head on a musical adventure with Fei Fei, her little brother, and her pet rabbit as she builds a rocket (it's amazing what kids can do nowadays!) and heads to the moon in search of goddess Chang’e (Hamilton’s Phillipa Soo). Just don’t say we didn’t warn you when you can’t get Ultraluminary out of your head, it’s a real bop!
It’s a film with talking animals, what’s not to love? When a decade of peace between cats and dogs comes under threat from an evil super-villain parrot, it’s up to secret agents Gwen the cat and Rodger the dog to put a halt to a potential cat-a-strophe and stop the foul fowl before it’s too late (we’ll show ourselves out!).
Looking for something a little different? You won’t want to miss the stunning Wolfwalkers. Completely drawn by hand, the film is set in 17th century Ireland and follows Robyn as she defies the odds to break away from her clan’s traditions. With voices provided by the likes of Sean Bean, the film is also a real feast for the eyes and is guaranteed to leave both adults and kids mesmerised.
