Our first Dementia Friendly screening

Posted 12 July 2017 about Dementia-friendly screenings and The Wizard of Oz .

Local care home at our Dementia Friendly screening it's been a great morning!

Our first Dementia Friendly screening proved to be popular.

We welcomed several local care homes to our cinema last Monday to watch the classic musical Kiss Me Kate.

Everyone enjoyed the social hour before the film. Many thanks to the local Iceland store for providing tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits. Nothing beats Mr back two performing at dementia friendly screeningKipling's Battenberg right?

The March based duo Sally and Paul otherwise known as Back Two did not fail to entertain during the interval. Elvis Presley's Teddybear got people up and dancing (even the staff performed a little boogie!)

Seeing everyone happy and having a great time was lovely, we cannot wait for our next screening of The Wizard of Oz in September.

In the meantime check out all of our upcoming screenings here.
